Personality

We were playing around with rebuses in a Russian book I bought Zig and he decided to make some of his own. This one says "personality" (get it?) He did another one of a cup followed by the letters ON. I said cup-on? To which he replied COUPON!! Pretty cool for a six-year-old.

Winter in Moscow

What does winter in Moscow look like? When you're a sick kindergartener, it looks like this:

1. Zig asked me to make a sweater for his friend, and once I got started on it he said "Mama, teach me how to knit." It was a quiet, early morning with just the two of us, so we cuddled on the sofa in the kitchen and I showed him how to knit. He picked it up quickly and completely understands the process of how the new loops hold the old loops. He's slow but careful, a true Avetisyan.

2. This morning he amused himself by stacking a bunch of things on the kitchen scale.

3. When you can't go to school you can still play LEGOS!

For Dedo and Babushka:

Letter to Eddie

Uncle Eddie, how can you fix the helicopter? It is broken. Bye bye.
